I was born and raised in Valpo/South Haven.  My love for accounting was sparked during a high school accounting class at Portage High!  After high school,  I worked a full time job in the legal field and attended classes at night at Purdue Cal.  After many years of working and going to school at night, I received a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and started working as a cost accountant at a local corn milling plant.  I made the switch to the public accounting arena and began to pursue my CPA license shortly thereafter.  Once I started working in public accounting I knew that was where I was meant to be.  I absolutely love my job and it’s an amazing feeling to go to work and actually enjoy what I do!  My husband Troy is an Accounting major as well, also doubling in Finance.  Our son Andrew is 9 years old and developed a love of numbers too!  I love spending time with my family and it’s the little things that make me happy!
